I'm a  passionate and energetic historian and general tour guide who was born and bred in Sligo. I studied Archaeology and Classical Studies at the National University of Ireland, Galway, where I developed a strong interest in the broad spheres of early Greek and Roman history, society, mythology and architecture.

David Lawless

David is originally from Dublin but is now lucky enough to live in wonderful Sligo, and takes great pleasure in sharing the beauty of the landscape, as well as the culture of the area. He is a Fáilte Ireland approved guide and a member of ATGI, and has a broad knowledge of the cultural history of the area,

John Paul is a local guide and historian. " My areas of special interest with regard to Sligo are the history and prehistory of the region, the local myths and legends, William Butler Yeats and the geology of the area."
